Young people take to the streets defending the pro-life message

Members of the LoveBoth Project are currently taking part in the LoveBoth Summer Tour. This is a new initiative for young people to travel around Ireland spreading the pro-life message.

As the Tour marks its third week on the road, co-ordinator Criostíona Ní Laimhín said:

“The LoveBoth Summer Tour is a group of young people who believe in the culture of life. We need to create a society where we truly do support both the mother and her baby. The Eighth Amendment creates the starting point for this. We believe that its removal could damage Ireland’s attitude towards the value of life and towards the equality and diversity of all people, young, old, rich, poor, sick or healthy.

Fantastic conversations

“Since the Tour started, we have had fantastic conversations with people from all walks of life and heard incredible stories about how the Eighth Amendment has saved the lives of babies in Ireland.  With every new town we visit, we come across more people who are living reasons why we should be proud of the positive impact of the Eighth Amendment and why we need to keep it in the Constitution.”
